The challenge

Wise Security Global needed a senior iOS profile with an architecture-oriented background to audit and validate the code quality of both their mobile SDK and the Wise DID Authenticator app. The SDK was used across multiple apps implementing their decentralized authentication technology, so the goal was to assess maintainability, performance and platform compatibility, and to propose improvements where necessary.

The solution

AtalayaSoft assigned Francisco José García Navarro as an external senior iOS engineer to deliver a complete technical audit followed by the implementation of the resulting improvements. The work was carried out in two phases:

1. Technical audit of the app and the SDK

Francisco conducted a thorough technical audit of both the Wise DID Authenticator app and its underlying SDK. The analysis covered:

  • Code quality and iOS platform conventions.
